Are you a good witch or a bad witch? A Davina or a Willa? That’s the world investigator Wes Rockville is thrown into when he’s reassigned to a little-known unit called the Witches Protection Program. Wes knows this is his last chance to prove himself to be a capable law enforcement agent, since he bungled his last case and let a criminal get away.
I chose this book because I loved the idea – protecting witches. Who wouldn’t want to do that? Michael Phillip Cash has taken this concept and created a world of morphing, magic and mayhem. Oh, and a little bit of romance thrown in. The book is fast-paced and action-packed. Some of the magical “fight scenes” went on for several pages, which happens when you have characters with of all sorts magic weaponry at their disposal. The story moves along so briskly, I finished it in less than a day. But, not to worry, there is definitely plenty of opportunities for Mr. Cash to turn this into a book series. I could see the Witches Protection Program going on for many more books to come.
I would recommend Witches Protection Program for anyone, young or old, looking to lose themselves in a well-spun tale of witchcraft, spell casting, adventure and romance. This makes a great poolside read. I’ll definitely look for any future sequels!
